Dublin City Council has officially transfer it's waste collection business to Greyhound recycling and recovery from Monday 16th January 2012.......
You are required to pay a annual service charge in full within 30 days from the above date....Greyhound will not collect bins from households who have not paid the service charge within the 30 days......the service charge is as follows : 240 litre black bin is €100 140 litre black bin is €80
Plus the current charge for each black and brown bin lift will be the same for the next 6 months them charges are 240 litre black bin €6 140 litre black bin €3.60 brown bin €2
And Greyhound will operates on a pre-pay system so if u have insufficient funds in your account your bins will not be collected.......greyhound will send you a payment card with details for payment
Now regarding the green bins you will receive a bar coded label once u have paid your Annual Service Charge then u place this label on your green bin and it will be collected free of charge....if you put your green bin out without the bar coded label will not be collected........If you wish to avail of this you should complete the form that u will/have received in the post and return it to Greyhound recycling and recovery.........ball&x
Hope this puts a bit of light on this issue....... Evil or Very Mad
