 Tench jumping

been fishing for years and only yesterday seen my first tench jump clear out of the water , usually just carp trout you see doing this it was one of them moments you wish you had recorded , has anyone else seen tench jump ???? im thinking tench in the lake must be plentiful

yes i`ve seen it before alright, although the mate that was fishing with me at the time thought i was mad and we argued over this for weeks until he seen one jumping at the same venue.

They do jump allright, I once caught one on floating crust, and more amazingly I read an account on one being caught whilst fly fishing! so there you have it - they dont spent all of their days buried up to their necks in silt
