| Heres a thought, or few...
Sending a newsletter to all asking people to cull their own posts/pic's might help.
Is it just pic's thats a problem? If not there is a lot of threads and posts that could be wiped out, without upsetting anyone. Deleting people's pic's might alienate people as it might not be the best fish or biggest but it has a value to someone?
What about just deleting pics from the posts and not the albums,and/or have links to the albums?
Set up an account for people to donate to for the up keep of the forum?
Maybe someone on here or knows someone that would like to sponsor the forum?
The tee shirt idea that was posted is a good way of making the site self funding.
I think it is unfair that Tom who set up this site for the good of all carp fishermen and women, Pays out of his own pocket. Given in this present economic climate money is tight for most. And I know Tom is not rolling in the money yet... So I think if all the people on this site donated a small amount or brought a tee shirt or something for the good of the forum this would go a long way to continue all the pleasure we all get. Not to mention information, help and social aspect of carp fishing in Ireland.
Does anyone have any other idea's??
Steve Morgan.

| Steve's right it aint fair - why not try the t-shirt thing? easy enough to do. is there a Graphic designer among the ranks who can draw up a simple logo/pic/design template? I can give you the details of the printer we used for the C.A.C.I gear if you cant find a place in cork. might be an idea to also date each years run of T-shirts (with the year) so as to encourage members to buy a new one each year, retaining a source of revenue for the running costs. regarding the pics - can you not give each member the ability to delete their own?

| click on the photo you want to get rid of and just above it you will see a box with " original pic " in it. click on that and it will give you a few options, find delete and click. _________________ www.etangdebrigueuil.com www.highmilllake.com

| Cant see why we cant do the t shirts,we got hoodies for "club cfi" a couple of years back.Ive still got mine.Either that or a small subscription each year, just for running costs. It might keep some of one posters offsite. _________________ Kill nothing but time;Take nothing but photographs;Leave nothing but footprints...........................IM TOO OLD TO BE ME |

| What if you buy a tee you get access to the site if not you don't...? problem solved. Got to be decent tee's though and in variety of sizes and colours ranging from Manatee to Dwarf and nothing that clashes with strawberry blondes, milky bar kids or any other minority group.
