Thats a great number of 40`s out in the last few days. Have you worked out how many of them were near 40`s grown on from last year?

Bang on 40 lbs Dan?? A likely story I feel. Why did'nt you add on the customary 2 oz for appearance's sake?

Must be just me that does that. Round figures always set alarm bells off when I hear them.

He has been known to steal the odd sausage, but i'd stake my rods on an accurate fish weights. I trust very few people with fish wieghts, Dan's one of them.

I trust him too with his weights but its that dodgy uncertified reject free scales i wouldnt trust...I have a vague recollection of a heated discussion in a bivvy one night about the probability that it weighs 4oz`s over everything else we tested it against!!

| that scales cost me 160 euros rory and got sacked as soon as i found out it was off. the free scales i got at the carp classic is spot on and i only checked it out with liamo`s earlier this week. i rang ruben heaton about that other scales and they told me that they have a tolerance of an increment either way. but i think it`s only 15 sterling to get it sorted _________________ www.etangdebrigueuil.com www.highmilllake.com
