just found this on the world carp classic web site maybe a few of the posters here could sign the petition

Hi there,

I am writing this in the hope that some of you will read this and sign the following petition.

At the moment over here in Portugal, certain agencies of the government
are planning to pass a law that if implemented will mean the killing of
all the carp and largemouth bass in all the nations waterways.

They are planning to do this because they see carp and largemouth bass
as exotic species after reading some European report about
environmental impacts caused by these so called "exotic species".

Once on the page just click where it says "Assinar Petição" (Sign the
petition), you will then be taken to a page with the following:

Nome (name)
Comentários (comments)
Email
BI (ID number) Don't worry too much here, any old 9 to 11 digit number
will do, the petition wont go through without a number there.
Localidade (Your Location, London, Liverpool etc).

If they get away with doing this over here, you never know, other
places here in the EU might follow. Just think about that for a second.

has anyone signed up yet. one other thing i would like to mention. there is a part in the petition that ask`s for your driver licence. just insert a 11 digit number it doesn`t matter
