Hi,
Report as follows.
5 Anglers.

2 Common sturgeon, 47lb and 68.5lb... same fish as current french lake record but at lower weight.
5 king carp including first king carp of season from 10lb to 60lb 3oz
6 grass carp from 6lb to 12.5lb including first carp of season

Fish only started to feed last two days, just two fish caught during daylight hours.

Nights very cold and days were too if u were on windward shore.. Lads at top of lake on lee shore were sunbathing.

Good trip ..But hard..

will post some pics if anyones interested

Regards,
Denis

The sturgeon was actually banked twice..
I broke in it the first time after 35 mins, buried itself in the roots of a tree, it then tangled itself in darrans line two hours later.
Eventually got it it in.. Two days later Darran caught it again, this time square in the mouth.. Yes it fought well..

I dont think we will book the same place again, as we have fished there twice and its a ball breaker of a water.
We have never gone to a runs water so thats where we might go next..

Hope everyone else that are planning to head away this year catch lots of big uns.
Regards,
Denis
