Thanks lads, we're going by ourselves but my dad has friends that live over there and practically live fishing. So they should know what they're doing.

had the first day on the ebro yesterday, 4 carp between 2 of us, biggest 19lb.

the weather is really bad now and we will have to fish lakes for the rest of the trip as it's seriously flooded.

we were fishing in a small town near zaragoza. fishing was pretty good up until the evening when it started pi$$ing rain and became unfishable.

then we went to smaller lakes and had a few smaller carp (up to 10b) and cats,

for the last 4 days we went to caspe and got a few carp up to 15lb

on the last day i caught a small cat and while i was reeling it in i had a take on it, had it for a while and then it went off and i reeled in the catfish and it was all shredded to pieces

no luck with the bigger cats at all, there were deffinatley fish there, hundreds and hundreds were jumping in the morning and evening, they just weren't getting their heads down at all.

wrong place, wrong time i think, anyway it was a good experience, but I think we will be going to france next year to give it a go, but I will deffinatley be back there.

at least you went and tried m8 it sounds like the extra water may well have put them off the feed ......
like you say it was an experience and a bad days fishing is better than a good day at work lol!

May can be a very hit and miss month because of spawning
