Dont think the missus would beleive me ...

Val , how much time has he spent on the bank of the Hudson .
Would a 3-4 day stint produce fish and is there much pre-baiting involved .

Dub, that mirror went 24+ and he got it float fishing w/sweetcorn about 15' from the bank. Mirrors are kinda rare over here... on adverage you get about 150 commons to one mirror . The lake where he got that is an exception to the rule with very few commons ever coming out!
Also, the lads beleive that it is an "Israely carp"..they're a little different that the reg common/mirror carp ??? Have you ever hear of them ??

Natas, all those last pictures are of his PB 42lbs -3 ozs. It's the biggest carp that we know of to come out of the Hudson .... he got that back in June and I think he's still on cloud nine!!!.. I would be too !!!

Rooster,.. what time of year are you thinking of visiting ?? The fish in the slide show are from may/june and oct/nov.
