I got a text off the lads that are out in Canada at the moment carping.
"Great spot fish everywhere, it was slow to start with but we have had fish to 32lb and everyone has been catching"

Im thinking of going over to Canada next year for a week. Does anyone have any advice on fishing it?

I'd say wait till the lads are back and have a chat with Richard , he is over there 2 or 3 times a year.

fished it in june 2005 had brilliant weeks fishing had loads of fish to 34lb 14 cant wait to go back

Great river..loads of nice carp!!....I've fished it from the NY side a few times. The good thing about the NY side is that you're allowed to use two rods (Canada only one Crying or Very sad ), although when the fish are in the mood it can be hard to keep both rods in at the same time!!
