Lac de Grosley

Just got home this morning lads was a good trip for some and not for others. it was hard fishing at best of times.
I had 4 fish for the week , coi carp 16lb 8oz , a 31lb 4oz mirror, 32lb 4oz mirror, 14lb mirror.
Think we had 24 carp,
and 1 sturgen that came out a few times.
will post pics later.

Lads lets face it, it was a very bad trip Crying or Very sad
I know it was the first time for a few of ye but I have been a few times and that was by far the worst trip ever.
We arrived late to the lake on the saturday night to find the gate locked so we had to sleep in the cars untill the morning.
The Quest bait didn't turn up till the monday morning.
Ben had the same 18lb fish twice
The sturgen came out 5 times, twice to mikeb and 3 times to Dave, so there was realy only a few fish out from it.
The lake with the bigger fish had a few big ones, I think a 41 was the biggest during the week but most fish seemed aroud 15 to 20 lb .
I could not say a bad thing about the owner or the lads we fished with but OOoooo am I glad to be home.

I think its safe to say that its fishing very slow over there at the moment, seems the big fish are on the munch, but bagging up seems to tough, Ive spoken to a few lads in the UK that have had recent trips over.
The bigger waters are by far the slowest to kick off.

I think untill the weather heats up/if it heats up things are gonna be slow all round. We had the hot spell in april last year and a few of the french trips went well..things are very different this time round. Any one know where to get a weather forecast for next year??Laughing Laughing

Many thanks to the lads on the Grosley trip for making it so enjoyable, apart from having had to sleep in the van for the fisrt night and the shortage of carp I did enjoy it . A special thanks to Tom for organising the trip and to Dave who organised the ferries.

lol!
