Attatched is a word for word report in the Nortern Standard Newspaper Dated June 25th 2009,

Serious Incident at Ballybay Lkae described to Carrick Court.

Two Lithuanian Nationals who allegedly overpowered a Fisheries Bailliff at a Ballbay Lake and stole cash from thier victim on Saturday last were remanded on Bail at Carrickmacross District Court yesterday (Wednesday).

The Court heard that the Bailiff, Mr Albert Hall, was speaking to his alleged assailants at Corkeeran Lake, a Trout Fishery on Ballybays Cootehill Road, before he was allegedly attatcked and robbed by the Man and a Woman, it is alledged that £400.00 in Sterling, €300.00 and a receipt book was taken from Mr Hall.

The incident was investigated by Gardai based in Carrickmacross who arrested the the Couple at thier Navan address on Monday of this week
the Pair had been remanded to Carrick Court yesterday from a sitting in Cootehill, Co Cavan on Tuesday.

The Woman is charged with having stolen the cash whilst the Man alledgedly involved is charged with Assualt and Theft.

Both were remanded on Cash Bail of €1,000.00 to a siting of Carrickmacross District Court in September and awaiting the direction of the Director od Public Prosecutions.

Strict Bail conditions were imposed by Judge Sean Mc Bride, the case was prosecuted by Inspector Fintan Mc Tiernan, Carrickmacross.

These ignorant wancers have no regard for the law, is it time it we adopted the same approach? Totally DISGUSTED by this.
