Its with great sadness that I learnt the news today of John McDonnalds passing.

John was very well known in the carp scene as was never to far from Dan's side whilst they fished around the carp circuit.

He was known for many things, none the least for his wooden leg. I will never forget the text I recieved a couple of winters ago from Dan that said john had been injured and taken to hospital whilst fishing a session on Derevaragh for pike.....apparently he had set his bivy on fire and had ...
