Kicked off at 3pm today, they have a peg at the back of an Island, shallow lake about 6ft all round, around 7pm two fish out, one at 39lb, but not to the lads....fingers crossed they get on them!

The game is on. An hour and 37 mns into the match and Dave Lane leader of the JRC Team Europe has caught the first fish - still awaiting official record sheet but understood to be 5.75 Kg.

so the leader of the JRC team, which is also the main sponsor for the tournament has caught the first fish, i reckon there`s a diver near his hook, it sounds a bit "fishy"

Dan has had two, 6.4kg & 19.5kg, Frank has had one, 13.4kg, they've also both lost one. It's early days but according to the info Vinny has been given they are currently leading by ~15kg, what a start!
