| There is no specific method to catching a 20lb fish, time, knowledge and patience is the key, and a well stocked lake of course. When i started carp fishing i went with a friend who had fished the lake (oxford UK) for some years. He had loaned me a 11ft rod to get me started and on day one i pulled what was at the time the lake record @ 29 1/2 needles to say he was really pissed when the warden told us of the record, they helped me get the picture and it made carp weekly from then on i was hooked. Now after 6 years out of fishing i cant wait to get back to it, i wish you luck on the quest for a 20lb pounder but as a lesson i took one of that size with no experience, stay patient and dont worry if you blank, it really helps to know the lake, good luck |

i cant slag much, since one the of ribs broke on my nash bivvy, ive become bivvy obsessed, ive been making up "logical" reasons for me to buy a Venture Razorback bivvy, "its lighter" i say, "its quicker to put up", "ive got €300 from my coin jar, so its technically free!!!" i might fall into that category |
