Not that type of hooker Suspect

If i want to soak a liquid and use on the hook what would i soak it in? Would a cork ball do as a pop up or are there non flavoured pop up hookers i can buy that absord the liquid and release over a long time?. also a sinking hooker?

If so what brand would you recommend

Thanks

Tony, you have a few options - if it is an unflavoured hookbait you want then any odourless/flavourless porus material could be shaped and used as so, the denser it is the longer it needs to be soaked & the slower/ longer the attractant of your choice will be released. types of foam, rubber etc.. the easiest choice would be artificial baits like those from Enterprise which can be emmersed in a liquid and will take on the flavour especially if peirced and squeezed while submerged. I do this with fake corn in pineapple but the combinations are endless. even unflavoured artificials of all kinds (cork balls included) fished over food particles will be sampled.
You could also make your own unfavoured food baits which could then be glugged and if you want them rock hard you can get "Granite" type mixes from many of the bait companys. again the simplest answer would be the rock hard hookers available from companies like Essential and Nutrabaits but they are made up of different attractor profiles than what you may
want to use. a good little trick with any of these "food" type baits is to drill/peirce them, glug them in your chosen liquid and store them in the fridge or freezer as when they return/thaw to room tempreture they will draw in even more flavour. hope this helps. GG.

p.s. you can get pop- up's , wafters and bottom bait hookers from the aforementioned companies. if you want to use a bouyent material as a bottom bait just squeeze the appropiate shot onto the hair directly below the bait depending on the level of bouyancy you want. GG.

A guy called Lee, who makes rather special 'hookers' in the UK.
Used by many, and he will make anything for you, including the original Nash Whiskey if you ask nicely!

Give him a bell, cant reccomend him enough, 10 out of 10!
